Overview

Join us for a captivating night where ancient wisdom intertwines, and the Navajo and Celtic traditions come alive under the vast canopy of stars.
This event celebrates the shared threads that bind these two rich cultures, revealing surprising parallels and cosmic tales.
Both cultures look to the stars for guidance.
Learn how the Celts and Navajo interpret the constellations, their stories of heroes, love, and cosmic journeys. You never know, you may find some thread that binds your own culture to these two ancient people.
When you arrive at the beautiful outdoor venue in our gorgeous Organ Mountains, you will find a selection of hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and beverages to enjoy. (Complementary wine will be served as well)
You will have some time to meet and greet your fellow star gazers as the sun gives us an enchanting show of a sunset New Mexico is known for.
As the stars begin to appear, your hosts will tell you their respective cultures’ stories of the origin of life, the stars, and the natural world around us.
They will point out the different clusters of stars that inspired the tales, myths, and beliefs of their ancestors. These captivating tales have been passed down through the generations through talks just like this. The art of oral storytelling is what has kept these two cultures alive for millennia.
Once the stories have come to a close, feel free to approach your guides to ask any questions you may have that can help you connect these chronicles with your own culture. We love to help you find out new information about our cultures, as well as your own!
By the end of the night, we hope you will take these wonderful tales with you and remember them each time you gaze up at the twinkling stars above you.
